Good news, bad news

The good news is that finally Luciano Maiani has now been formally nominated as president of CNR.
The bad news is that On. Sra. Carlucci has just been re-elected as MP in the chamber of deputies. Well, actually will be re-elected. She has in fact been awarded the n. 13 in the electoral lists for Puglia. A position which is sure to grant a place in the Italian parliament, given the present electoral law.
All as expected.

“…it has been said I had put forward showgirls as candidates, but I’d do other things with showgirls rather than put them in an electoral party list.”
I’d also do other things with Berlusconi rather than put him in an electoral list. But I bet the things we’re talking about aren’t exactly the same.
